Main goal of the project is to increase accessibility of the border area of Bieszczady and Staryi Sambir by integrated investment in road infrastructure.

In Bieszczady the Jureczkowa - Kwaszenina - Arłamów road will be renovated - in total 11 kilometres and 395 metres. The road is subject to heavy goods traffic connected with the acquisition and processing of wood and gravel as well as to tourism-related traffic. The road constitutes also a short cut to border crossings with Ukraine and Slovakia.

In Staryi Sambir there will be reconstruction of four streets and pedestrian crossing leading to the city railway station - in total 5 kilometres and 461 meters of new road infrastructure including pavements, reconstructed car parks and drainage system. The streets after renovation will release the Lviv - Uzhhorod road traffic in the city and will increase accessibility to the Dniester river tourist facilities.

Ustrzyki Dolne (capital city for the Bieszczady County) and the Staryi Sambir are partner towns and joint actions implemented as part of the cross-border partnership include also education, culture, sports, tourism, environmental protection, healthcare, public safety and public transport.
