The first scientific workshops organized under the project 'Scientific integration of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland area in the field of monitoring and detoxification of harmful substances in environment'.
On 24-28 June 2013 University of Rzeszow held the first scientific workshops organized under the project "Scientific integration of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland area in the field of monitoring and detoxification of harmful substances in environment". They were attended by students and PhD students of the partner institutions: the University of Rzeszow (5 students) and Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy Of Sciences of Ukraine from Lviv (5 students).
The focus on the joint research was on current problems on environmental monitoring. The workshops were led by scientists from The Chemistry and Toxicology of Food Department. The students had the opportunity to examine different methods practiced in the monitoring of the environment, to deepen their expertise in the laboratory research. In addition the joint workshops enabled integration and exchange of knowledge and experience between the partner institutions from Poland and Ukraine.
